iCloud
With Apple's iCloud, you'll always have up-to-date versions of all your photos, notes, documents, contact lists, and more. The service keeps all your devices in sync, allowing you to share information between your computer and other mobile devices at home or office. Below you'll find detailed information, specifically for iCloud integrations.
Supported iCloud Integrations
Authorizing iCloud
We simply ask your login details and permission for access.

It is mandatory for your iCloud account to have two factor authentication enabled. More information can be found here.
If this is the case, we require the following things to be able to connect to your iCloud account:
1. your iCloud username (which may be any email address you used to sign up with, or an iCloud.com, me.com or mac.com address)
2. an app-specific password, to be generated by logging in on the Apple ID web page. Further instructions are here.

If you already authorized iCloud account(s) in the past or in any other PieSync integration, you'll be able to skip this step and choose from your CONNECTED ACCOUNTS.

Default Field Mapping
Depending on the other app you're syncing with, you'll see a number of standard iCloud fields being mapped. For instance, a connection to Google Contacts will look something like this:

Customizable Field Mapping
Currently, iCloud does not support custom contact fields. However, you can map any additional standard fields that aren't included in the default mapping yet. Bear in mind a mapping between two fields can only exist if the types of fields are compatible.

Additional Options
Syncing Unsubscribes/Deletions
There are no supported iCloud integrations on the PieSync platform, that support our Unsubscribes/Deletions Sync.
